These 3 photos came from a shoot for my graphic novel. I asked my model, Amanda, to pretend to punch the mirror, symbolizing the rend between the character’s true nature and what they want to be. I intend to photoshop wolf canines and possibly ears onto the image in the mirror, as well as add grime to the mirror and change the color tone of the picture to something of the blue or green cast. I was thinking I could add an open window with the moon in it behind her on the upper left side of the image.
The only thing I wish I could change is the slight blurriness, but it works for the picture, adding a sense of movement.

This was done with a small flashlight in the studio, with the shutter speed turned way down. My friend JD traced my outline in the rather short 30 seconds. The clouds and stars were added in photoshop. Light graffiti is particularly intriguing to me, and I will eventually experiment more with it.

Another photo taken in the studio. I really like the way part of the floor shows up next to JD’s feet. If I had had more time, I would have traced the bottoms of his feet as well, to make it a whole outline with no breaks. Light graffiti is ridiculously fun, because each time you do it, it looks a little different, and its exciting to hear the click of the shutter and hustle over to see how it turned out.
