Great use of bright colors. The orange is a contrast to the green, which makes the eyes really show. If i had to guess this was photoshopped and the saturation was bumped up, as well as some layers added to color the eyes specifically. Possibly a sharpen added to the eyes as well. The position of the kitten is interesing, it has something that catches my eye. maybe it is the depth and curve of its back…
